SURREAL

sur·re·al
/səˈrēəl/ adjective
  1. having the qualities of surrealism; bizarre.
sur·re·al·ism
/səˈrēəˌlizəm/ noun
  1. a 20th-century avant-garde movement in art and literature which sought to release the creative potential of the unconscious mind, for example by the irrational juxtaposition of images.
It feels like our world has been flipped upside down more than once over theses past 12 months. Things that seemed unimaginable have become reality; global pandemics, official acknowledgment of UFO's, systematic power shifts, the rise of digital currency, living our lives via internet, and so many more. What's next.

For this assignment I want you to combine your wildest dreams and nightmares with reality to create  surrealistic imagery. What is a wild idea the 8 year old you might have had?  What is a wild dream that has stuck with you? Think in terms of metaphors and symbolism. Think ridiculous puns (two faced, rolling your eyes, brain washed). GET WIERD!

Take something "normal" and everyday and add an something completely abnormal or out of place to create a surreal artwork
