Due to the fact I don't know what you can do we are going to start out with a non graded project to get a better idea of skill levels and what we may want to focus on during this class. This is meant to be fun and not tons of pressure. Do your best. We are all starting from different places but we are all here to grow. Please refrain from copying. If you are just copying or doing an exact replica of a character you like from a manga or anime. If you are just replicating someone else's work you are not actually showing me what YOU can do.
You are to find either a manga or comic book cover that you find to be interesting and convert it to the opposite style. Manga to "Western Style" Comic books (Marvel, Dc, Etc. OR "Western Style" Comic books (Marvel, Dc, Etc. to Manga Feel free to make changes to the cover layout and specific objects as long as is clear and recognizable similarities between the two. |
