Hello my name is Mr. Nelson I currently teach all grades and various mediums of visual arts at MGSH. I began teaching in the teaching in the Osseo School District in 2012 after completing my Master’s degree from the University of Minnesota within the field of visual arts education. I have a strong background in graphic design, ceramics, printmaking and electronic media. In an effort to keep you informed on what we will be doing in class, I will also be updating a class website at least once a week with handouts, in progress photos, presentations from class and a variety of other things.
I am very excited to be a part of the Arts program here at MGSH and look forward to sharing in your your artistic process through creativity, hard work and & imagination during the trimester. If you have any questions, suggestions, or would like to assist in the art room, please contact me by phone at 763-391-8700, or e-mail at: [email protected]. |
Son of Nels is a print and design company based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. I began over seven years ago in a tiny studio apartment in St. Paul, today my work has been featured in screen printing books, exhibited in art galleries and have been sold in various locations around the midwest. I started printing out of curiosity and I keep printing because it became a passion. My hand-pulled screen print work focuses on poster design, t-shirts, business cards, logos, and more.
