Jewelry is an artform that is a arguably more publically visably than any other artform due to the fact that the owner of the finished artwork adorns the final product for the world to see. For that reason you are challenged to choose your next summative project. You will be going onto pinterest to research and explore various pieces of work for inspiration for your own work. You will be allowed to use various elements, concepts and themes from other artist BUT not allowed to 100% replicate someone elses work. Thinking about your known techniques and your comfortability with each technique, design a piece that is adequatly challenging to you as well as something that you would actually wear.
Finish all smaple squares and have them graded.
Go on to pinterest and research / search for jewelry that has a minimum of two techniques that are in the list below. -JUMP RINGS -RIVETING -SOLDERING -DAPPING AND DOMING -HOLE PUNCH -NEGATIVE SPACE -COLD CONNECTIONS -TEXTUREIZING
Create a 4 slide powerpoint with 1 title page and 3 example slides that you will be using as a reference. On each slide Include your image, the name of the artist , the techniques and materials used in that piece. (see below)
Create 3 lifesize drawings from different angles of your intended piece labeling with; size measurements, types materials used, how much material you will need and techniques. You will also need to supply a blueprint of your raw material/cuts.
Turn in completed drawings befor you can get new metal
